Fairtrade

It has been decided to establish Lockerbie Academy as a Fairtrade school. A steering group is in the process of being set up and will consist of staff and pupils. At the first meeting, a suggested policy will be drafted and a calendar of events drawn up. It will also highlight the use of Fairtrade goods and the way in which knowledge of Fairtrade will be promoted in lessons and assemblies. Fairtrade supports lots of initiatives such as Eco schools, Citizenship, Healthy schools and Determined to Succeed.

Fantasy Football

Thanks to the continued support and hard work of Mr Dickson in the Maths Department, we will enter our third season of Fantasy Football at Lockerbie Academy. Last year we were in the Top 20 in Scotland!

We wish to enter as many teams as possible, so come on mums and dads, pick a team and compete with your family. The season runs from August to May and more details will be issued shortly, but log in now at www.schoolsfl.com and start selecting your team.
