Determined
to Succeed Annual Awards
Lockerbie Academy
was again well represented at the Regional Determined to Succeed

The school achieved
the Gold Award for its Enterprise Activities throughout the year.
These have been coordinated by the Enterprise Core Group a range
of teaching staff throughout the school and including support
from Colin Dunbar of Shasun. Major achievements this year have
included the development of the new Web Site by Mrs Bell of the
ICT/Technical Faculty, the European Computer Driving Licence which
this year has 65 students enrolled, the S2 Recipe book and Calendar,
the full programme of Work Experience for fourth year pupils,
the S6 Yearbook, the Rocket Launching competition organized by
Mrs Hargreaves in the Science department and the continuing success
of the Fantasy Football league organized by Mr Dickson. These
are only a few examples of the superb programme of Enterprise
