the last two weeks. The S3 Finance and Enterprise Group have been
working with the Art department to produce a 2010 Calendar. This
shows Art work from all year groups. There are two types of calendar
– A4 wall hanging and the CD style.

Levi Carrick is the new leader of the league with 103 points.

3A visit Ecclefechan Day Centre
During our Personal and Social Education time we have been finding
out what life is like for the old people in our community. We
decided to do something nice to help our old folk and decided
to visit Ecclefechan Day Centre on Thursday 10 December. All pupils
contributed 50p to buy baking ingredients and stayed after school
with Mrs Docherty and Miss Wells to bake some Christmas cakes
for the people at the day centre. We decorated them nicely too!
During PSE on Thursday we went on the minibus with Mrs Docherty,
Mrs Anderson and Mrs Boyle to take our cakes to the old people.
They were so friendly and really welcome us. We took them all
tea, coffee and cakes round their tables then sat down with them
and had a cup of tea and a chat. It was really fun and interesting
to talk to them and we have been invited back to visit another
time which we would most definitely like to do. The class went
because they wanted to do something nice for others at Christmas
but it was also nice for us. The elderly and 3A enjoyed themselves
and had a lovely day.
