From the Rector...


Senior pupils will receive their SQA results on 5 August. Senior Staff will be available on the morning of Thursday 7 August to discuss these.

The next termly bulletin will be issued in August 2008, but until then I wish all pupils and staff a well deserved, restful Summer break.

“Côr Meibion Dyfi” - Male Welsh Choir

The Male Welsh Choir will be performing at Lockerbie Academy on Friday 12 September 2008. The choir’s ‘home base’ is the market town of Machynlleth, where in 1404 Owain Glyndwr established the first Welsh Parliament – six hundred years before the Welsh Assembly of today! European Student Conference 2007

Stavanger, Norway

St Olav, Stavanger hosted the Student Conference this year with over 50 students from Norway, Poland, Finland, Italy, Liverpool and Lockerbie. The theme of the conference was “Education for All” looking at the UN Millennium Goals.
