School Transport and Bus Timetables

Free transport is provided to the normal territorial school for pupils who have to travel more than three miles to the pick-up point. Parents who choose to send their child to a different school must pay any transport costs involved.

Parents are responsible for their child’s behaviour on the buses provided. Bad behaviour can put lives in danger. Pupils should follow the Bus Prefects' and drivers' instructions whilst on the bus. Pupils will be issued with a seat number where they should always sit, on the way to school and returning home. If seat belts are present they must be worn at all times. Bus passes may be withdrawn from pupils who persistently misbehave, leaving parents responsible for transporting such children to school.
